This is a beautiful pendant. It looks much more expensive than it is. And I like that I can wear it and be constantly reminded of the underpinnings of my faith - without shouting to the whole world, "Look at me! I'm a believer!"
These past two spring semesters, 2012 and 2013, I taught English at a university in Shandong Province, China. In a country where atheism is the official religion, it is especially heartening to have this token reminder of the promise that I will be given whatever I need, no matter the circumstances. When you are alone in a country where you don't speak the language, and only a few of the natives can speak yours, this especially heart warming.
