I thought this was a Swarovski product but rather it is a necklace with Swarovski crystals - not the same thing. The not-Swarovski necklace looks like it's made of some kind of cheap materials, such as, sliver plated or plated-something to make it look like like Swarovski's rhodium. The rhodium not only looks good, doesn't fade or tarnish, but it is also non-irritating for people sensitive to nickel, silver, or anything less than 14k gold or anything that is cut with inferior metals. This product is described as "Swarovski elements" and that's what it is; it is an element and not a Swarovski product.
It is best to go on Swarovski's web site for any product that you think is Swarovski.. That way, you know you are getting the real thing. Also, Swarovski describes the metal make up of whatever it is you are interested in, so that if you have contact dermatitis from low grade metals, you know what to buy or not buy.
