I like this medal because it is small. I don't need to hide my faith but neither do I want to be shouting it out around my neck. I wanted to get a miraculous medal similar to the one my mother always wore. I am sorry for the reviewer who said the chain on hers was not as delicate as pictured; mine arrived exactly as pictured. I probably would have been more comfortable with a 21 inch chain but i know there is no medal with 21 inch chain. I am very satisfied with my purchase and hope it will last and that I can wear it in the shower as my mother did hers.
