I have bought a host of these exact earrings (white gold, synthetic gem) for my wife. She has very sensitive skin and can't abide cheap metal. There have been no reactions at all (except for all the positive coo's from her friends when they hear they were presents 'just because')

The color of the actual stones is very near the picture, which is what I wanted. I also liked having the yellow gold option, since gold sets off the blue so well.
