I can't vouch for the longevity or possible tarnishing because I just got this.
That said, it's very pretty! The chain is short (16 inches probably) but thick and smooth. I like my chains longer, so I'll give that to my daughter.
The starfish is about an inch in diameter and very sparkly! Looks a lot more pricey than it is. Definitely worth 17 dollars! :)love it By ALKD

I ordered 2 of these and they are nice. I thought it would be a little bigger. Already lost a little rhinestone, only have worn it less than a dozen times. I do get complements when I wear it, but disappointed that it went defective so soon, glad I ordered 2. Hopefully the second one lasts longer.
